After months of speculation, the latest renewable energy bills of Italy will come into force. It has been proven that the current PV FIT grants of Italy have hit a ceiling of €6bn on July 12, which means Conto Energia V of Italy must to take effect on August 27.

A few days ago, the energy regulator GSE of Italy announced that the grants had reached the limit. In virtue of the total machine has up to 14.3gw, and its PV systems are more than 4000,000, the new energy bills will take effect on August 27, 2012, which has been confirmed by Italian electricity and gas regulator AEEG.

In the last few months, the industry had to guess when to achieve the maximum subsidy, while the latest energy bill has been approved by minister last week and promulgated formally. The industry had thought, the new energy bills will come into force from September 5 to 10th.But the Italian Government only provided 700 million Euro PV subsidy last week, while Conto Energia V will take effect in 45 days after the subsidy limit is reached.

A project management company said, in order to take full advantage of Conto Energia V, his PV plant now under construction will to be put into operation before August 27.
